THE SOUTH AFRICAN motorcycle market has received a major boost with the news that the South Africa Bike Festival and AutoTrader, the largest online automotive market place in the country, have joined forces to invest in the future of South Africa’s motorcycle market. The deal is a three-year commercial headline sponsorship, according to a media release from UK-based, Clarion Events The annual South Africa Bike Festival, powered by Discovery Channel, is now the leading showcase on the South African motorcycling calendar, with the third motorcycling instalment set to take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from May 25 to 27.
These three powerhouse companies, together with the existing headline media partner, Discovery Channel, look forward to delivering the strongest platform yet for the leading motorcycle brands, manufacturers, accessories and apparel, as well as all industry and motoring lifestyle businesses. The strategy is to meet upwards of 20 000 potential customers and network with wider industry players to focus on the future of motorcycling in South Africa.
